She then pursued a law degree, graduating from South Texas College of Law in December 1997. During her time in law school, Camille actively participated in mock trial, the mediation clinic, and served as the Mid-Law Senator for the Student Bar Association. She broadened her academic experiences by spending the summer of 1996 in Rhodes, Greece, participating in a maritime study abroad program, and the summer of 1997 in Honolulu, Hawaii, attending a summer study program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
